Academic Coordinator
Zulema Avalos has been an academic coordinator for CONDESA and the Nicotine and Cannabis Policy Center (NCPC) since January 2023. For CONDESA, she manages the website, organizes meetings, field trips, and the Incubator. She graduated from UC Merced with her BS in cognitive science and a minor in psychology in 2021.
Program Evaluator
Dr. Xiang is substantive change & graduate assessment coordinator from the Academic Planning and Assessment Support Center, UC Merced. She supports faculty with their graduate program assessment needs including Coordinating Committee on Graduate Affairs (CCGA) and WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) proposal preparation, annual assessment, and periodic review. She also manages graduate-level educational grant evaluation and has served as an evaluator for many grants on campus, including CONDESA.
